My recruiters are awesome, I've dealt with some sub-par and dishonest ones in the past with other companies, I've worked with Jan and Tonya for over a year and very pleased. Timesheets are easy to input. Jobs are easy to see/find with the AMN app. Rates are competitive, some facilities I've gotten extremely high paying rates, other facilities more middle of the road, but never a rate that was disappointing.

The credentialing specialists are a real headache to work with. That's the only real downside to the company.

Recruiter didn’t define entire contract obligations. Facility abused traveler schedule and time card. Deleted hours worked. On call requirements not legal and traveler not supported. AHMC. Dept Mngr not honest with all contract details. Changes schedule posted after offering posted position. Staff manipulate schedule and dump on traveler. 31 to 45.5 on. Call stand by hours mandatory 3 times a week with 40 regular hours 5x 8 hour shifts. On call only$7 hr not legal for California labor law health care provider. RTs only allowed to have 16hrs per 24 shift max. You only have 2 days a week barely to have personal time. Scheduled by yourself often and no relief for breaks or lunch.. cute hospital, extremely easy. Town closes down very early. Ocean is awesome. You can’t even enjoy the forest or ocean or go exploring. You’re on stand by 45.6 hours 3 of the 5 days a eeek. No staff work Saturdays. Or call Saturday night. That’s your5th 8 shift . You’re not off. You’re on stand by 15.5 hrs. Shift is 08:30-1700 stand by is 1700-0830. You can’t go and do anything. You can leave hospital. But you must be within 45 minute call back at hospital no later how ever many times you’re called. Must have cell service . Lots of no service sreas. Literally / to 4 pts a shift. You sit all day. 3 RTs day shift????? Makes absolutely zero sense. They should be 12 hrs or 4 10s. . 2 on days 2 on nights just in case sick call vacation or ed leave and 2 other RTs 24 hr or 36. Everyone could work 2 weekend a month and no freaking call. . 15.5 hrs stand by RT traveler $7 hr are they out of their mind, ? California labor law health care stand by $24. Its compensated pay. They try to to say it’s not. It is. You can’t do whatever you want on stand by . They aren’t even generating any revenue for RT Dept. I literally don’t know how they have 4 Rzts on day shift for 8 hrs and nothing at night. Crazy! Pt comes in in distress dtsbikize . RTs not pro active just wait for helicopter. Pt can be turned around with aerogen 30mg albuterol ,bipap and lasix, CXR, nope just let paradoxical breathe till helicopter crew comes. They keep pts max 5 days maybe. . Rt only thinks about stabilize, ship out. . This hospital charges . Makes no sense. Flight crew expensive. Generate some funds for your dept. pt only going to stay 5 days anyway. Probably dc after 2 days rescue bipap lasix and q4 A/A inline aerogen once comfortable. Staff said they have no need for aerogen. Yes they do. They don’t even listen to breath sounds. 4 RTs day shift $65hr staff and a traveler 1 :3 it’s TID. They make traveler have worst schedule and worst on call hours. Mngr doesn’t pay per Ca labor law health care provider stand by rules. Staff only work 4 (8)hr shifts . Make traveler do 5. Because it’s overtime and then they don’t pay you overtime or double time or even approve your timecard on time to get paid, it’s a shame.. Threvuscsn awesome Dr there. Dr. Miller he is great. He needs great RTs to go with it, be proactive. Tx times 9 am 1500 and that’s it. RNs give tx at 2100. Never happens. I just couldn’t be door mat and work their shifts staff didn’t want . Traveler gets hired to help . Not to be abused. So much potential being wasted. Could really be top notch if RT staff cared, Mendocino better place to stay. Much nicer . But not within call back time and mileage restriction. Forget having a margarita or going out to dinner. You can’t . You are glued to hospital for 45.6 hours a week and 50 hours during the day. They don’t include those details in your contract. It sucks. You’re thinking awesome day shift 8 hours. . Time to enjoy the coastline and explore , nope. Traveler no life. No travel time to have fun. RTs max 16 hr in 24 hr period California. $7 hr on call hours. . Staff will tell you they get osidv$8hr on call for 41 hrs a week or 46 . . Nope. Not worth it. Should be paying Rt 4k a week to be hostage that many hours. My 2nd day I was asked to apply and then could terminate my contract hire me. Now I know why. They’re looking for a sucker so they can have schedule they want . New hire all hours they don’t want. No thank you. Sooooo disappointed. Never went back after first week. I love the ocean.
